Other help with funding issues

For the latest news on grants schemes and other initiatives operating in your local area, make sure you are connected up with your local councils (parish / town and borough / district) and the Council for Voluntary Service that covers where you are based.

Hampshire County Council also run a range of grant schemes, including some focused on community buildings. The schemes most relevant for organisations that run community buildings are looked after by the Culture, Communities and Business Services department.

Finally, check out the Funding Central grants database, which is free for organisations with an annual income below £100,000. For larger organisations, an annual subscription costs £120+VAT .
