2014 winner of the Cris Jezard award for Excellence and Innovation in Social Enterprise
Cris Jezard worked as Action Hampshire’s Social Enterprise Development Manager until his untimely death in 2011. Since then, we have made an annual award of £500, in his name.
The latest winner is Carolyn Barber, a Fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs Hampshire, who set up the Good Mental Health Co-operative
Carolyn’s enterprise combines strong social benefit, inclusive governance and plans to generate income from a number of different sources.
Here Carolyn is receiving the award, made by Wooden Tiger, a local social enterprise that Cris supported, from Portsmouth’s Lord Mayor, Cllr Steven Wylie.
