Rural Connections Grant now open
HCC Adult Services has just opened a new grants fund to help address loneliness and social isolation in rural Hampshire. One aim of the Rural Connections Grant is to develop and support volunteers in rural settings who will provide information and advice for vulnerable adults in their communities. A second aim is to facilitate connections with other services and assets including community buildings, Town and Parish Councils and local support and social groups.
Information about the programme and how to apply can be found here
Applications must be received by 10am on Monday 13 August 2018 and the period of grant funding will run from October 2018 until March 2020.
