Be a part of the Hampshire Festival of the Mind! - 7 May 2016
If your enterprise is linked in any way to mental health and wellbeing, they’d love you to be involved with the second Hampshire Festival of the Mind in May 2016. The theme this time will be ‘Creativity Changes Lives’.
The launch event will be held at Portsmouth Cathedral in Old Portsmouth on Saturday, 7 May from 10.00 am to 4.00pm, so please make a note in your diaries.
how can you be involved?
- book a stall for the launch event. The charge for the day will be £30, unless you are a member of the Good Mental Health Cooperative or you were a donor to their crowdfunding campaign.
- volunteers are needed to help with the launch event on the day. Please let them know if you’re willing and able – things like being on the door, collecting feedback, directing people to workshops.
- do you have an event or activity during May you’d like to include in the Hampshire Festival of the Mind programme? This might be a regular activity that you run, or a special event. They’ll need a title for the activity, venue, date, times and any cost to take part by mid February so they can get on with getting publicity produced.
If you’re interested in any of the above, please email Carolyn Barber at The Good Mental Health Cooperative.
it’s for, and about, the whole of Hampshire
Already around 30 community groups and enterprises have said they’d like to get involved, but they are mostly in south Hampshire including Portsmouth and Southampton. So the organisers would really like to hear from people in other parts of Hampshire. The aim is to highlight the amazing work that’s going on in local communities around wellbeing, recovery and inclusion, so please think of it as an opportunity to publicise your work.
