Training for community halls and centres


We have two training sessions later in the year for trustees and staff of organisations that run a community building.

The first session covers Funding Your Community Building and you’ll learn about fundraising activities, applying for grants, and other issues around improving your organisation’s financial situation. The session is on Tuesday 2 October from 10:00am to 12:30pm at our office in central Winchester.

Places are limited and cost just £25 each for Action Hampshire members subscribers (£35 for non-members) if you book by midday on Tuesday 4 September so go ahead and book your place!


We’ve also booked in a training session on Thursday 25 October, again from 10:00am to 12:30pm at our Winchester office. The topic for this session hasn’t been set so please let us know what you would like training on.

We can focus on fundraising and grants again, or cover something else; practical building management issues, the basics of being a charity trustee, an introduction to the CIO charity structure… Email us or call 01962 857358 with your suggestions.
