Nine new affordable homes for Eversley's local people
Eversley village in Hart will shortly have 9 new affordable homes for local people
Building work is due to complete over the next month on the Rural Exception site in the village centre. 9 new affordable homes for local people have been created. Action Hampshire’s Rural Housing Enablers worked very closely with the parish council and its HARAH partners over several years to provide these much needed new homes for the parish and it is wonderful to see this project shortly to be completed and local people moving into the new homes.
Rural exception sites provide affordable housing in rural communities, where opportunities for delivering affordable housing tend to be more limited. The aim is to deliver high quality housing that contributes to the creation and maintenance of sustainable communities in market towns and villages.
The affordable housing will consist of 2 x one-bed units, 5 x two-bed units and 2 x three-bed units. The properties will be allocated according to an agreed Local Lettings Plan as well as Hart’s
Allocation Policy and will be advertised through Hart’s Choice Based Lettings Scheme.
Bidding for a property takes place between September 25th-September 28th 2014
In order to be considered for any affordable housing in the district please join the Council’s housing register by contacting the Housing services department on 01252 774420 or email [email protected]
The opening event is scheduled for 11th November 2014
