National Data Strategy event 19 November POSTPONED
Due to the general election being called for 12 December the National Data Strategy event on 19 November has had to be postponed. We have now entered the pre-election period (known as purdah) which restricts what the civil service is able to do. General elections have a number of implications for the work of civil servants and the need for the civil service to remain impartial. Departments are not allowed to undertake activity that could call into question this political impartiality or could give rise to criticism that public resources are being used for party political purposes.
Action Hampshire and the National Data Strategy Team apologise for the short notice. We hope to re-arrange something after the general election. If you want to discuss this please contact Jo Dixon
