Connect with other community buildings trustees and staff
Share ideas online
You have immediate access to around 70 people from community halls and centres across Hampshire, through our space on the Basecamp online networking system. Just send us a quick email and we’ll set you up with a free account. Then you can share your successes and struggles, ask people for their views, and share documents you’ve created.
Or perhaps you prefer face-to-face
We also help to organise meetings covering the whole county, giving you a great opportunity to meet people in the same role as you. Meetings in the north of Hampshire and the New Forest are coming soon:
- Tues 22 Jan, 1:30-3:30pm at Long Sutton Village Hall
- Mon 28 Jan, 2:00-4:00pm at Greyfriars Community Centre, Ringwood
There’s a full list on our website here (under the heading ‘Networking meetings’). Each meeting is mainly aimed at organisations based in that district, but you’re welcome to come to another area meeting if the date for your local one doesn’t work for you.
Rural halls: help to shape the national picture
Finally, do you know about the National Village and Community Halls Network? This is for you if you’d like to help shape and respond to national policy around rural community buildings. So if you’re interested in the big strategic picture around community development in England’s countryside, then get on board by signing up here.
