About Action Hampshire:
Action Hampshire has been a champion for voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations for more than 70 years. We enable them to deliver great services to local people and communities, and speak for the changes they want to see where they live and work.
We support the people and organisations that make a difference serving their communities across Hampshire and beyond. We do this by connecting, representing, and developing skills and expertise across the VCSE sector and by collaboration that creates social change and makes society a better and fairer place.
About the role:
After a period with an interim CEO we are now seeking a Chief Executive to work with our newly appointed Chairman and lead our team into the post pandemic era. We are seeking a strong, visionary leader who can inspire and influence, and advocate for the VCSE sector.
There has never been a more exciting time to join our talented, expert and friendly team. The work of the VCSE sector has grown and changed rapidly during the past two years and our role has never been more appreciated or important. We are now looking for a powerful communicator who can ensure that the expertise and passion of the sector has a real influence with local authorities and the health sector.
Our senior leadership team is working to embed our new culture and ways of working, driven by our values of being bold, enterprising, informative, and empowering. We very much welcome applications from all members of the community regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, ethnicity, faith or disability.
