Advent calendar – 17 December: From the Harp
Christmas time is the time of year when From the Harp seeks out opportunities for random acts of harping.
Last Christmas Alice took the harps to QA Hospital in Portsmouth on Christmas Eve and played for patients and their families. On Christmas day people were playing Jingle Bells on the harps at Home Coffee and the Mind Wellbeing Centre, both of which were open to support people that were lonely or isolated.
