Phil Taverner

Representing HVSC on the Hampshire Health and Wellbeing Board

Phil is Community Development Worker at Test Valley Community Services. During his career, Phil has worked in children and families social work in the UK and New Zealand. He worked for statutory social work agencies prior to moving into the not-for-profit sector as Assistant Director for the NSPCC, after which he moved into health research as an Assistant Director within the National Institute for Health Research. Last year, he took semi-retirement and now has a number of roles including working as a community worker and Chair of a NICE guideline committee. Phil has also been a trustee of a number of charities over the years.
