We are represented on a variety of fora, partnerships and subgroups. We strive to get a fair deal for residents and businesses in rural Hampshire by undertaking research and providing intelligence to various government departments on a range of topics.
Our rural influencing and advocacy work is focused on improving the quality of life and well-being for Hampshire’s residents and promoting the interests of rural businesses. To do this we:
- are represented on a number of forums, partnerships and subgroups;
- respond to consultation exercises;
- provide (local) evidence and intelligence to help ensure rural concerns and priorities are taken into account in policy, strategy and work plans;
- highlight the issues that are of particular significance to those at risk of exclusion or who find it difficult to have their voice heard.
