New workshop dates for Inspiring Enterprise Programme

We were very excited to be at the launch of the Inspiring Enterprise programme and we made some really interesting contacts that we are following up at the start of this New Year. It was great to hear from David Shervill, talking about his enterprise Global Music Visions and the support he has received from us in the past. He is a great example of how business support and advice can develop a small social enterprise into a sustainable business. David was also pleased to be asked to sit on the project steering group.

At the end of last year we held a β€œIs Social Enterprise For Me?” session for some partner organisations followed by a network event where we further promoted the offer to partners. These events generated a lot of interest in the programme.

We are launching into a busy season of introductory workshops, we have dates booked in Andover, Basingstoke and Bordon.

2 February, 2 – 5pm: The Orchard, Basingstoke

14 February, 2 – 5pm: Augusta Park Community Centre, Andover

2 March, 2 – 5pm: Forest Community Centre, Bordon

We have meetings booked with potential partners in the New Forest, Basingstoke, Totton and Aldershot.

Our social media channels are buzzing with shares and retweets and we are working on our next social enterprise newsletter.

2017 is proving to be a busy year and we are looking forward to equipping lots of new social entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to run their own business.
