Funding news for March


Read on for news of five grant schemes either inviting applications now or opening again soon!

Hampshire County Council’s Culture, Communities and Business Services department has three grant schemes open for applications now. For full details see their website, and take a look at the summary below:

Rural Communities Fund

Grants for a range of activities and projects in rural areas that build community resilience and encourage self-help. You can generally apply for up to £5,000, with a limit of £10,000 for some types of project.

Community Buildings Capital Fund

Grants for improvements to community halls, centres, and similar buildings. Examples of eligible projects include work on insulation and heating systems, extensions to allow more activities to take place, and making the building more accessible for people with disabilities.

You can apply for up to £25,000 and there is a deadline coming up on 28 March.

Culture and Community Activity Grants

Grants of up to £3,000 for a range of cultural and recreational projects. The next deadline for this scheme is also 28 March.

Two other grants opening soon

Get ready to look at the Calor Rural Community Fund, which opens for applications on 20 March, and the Marks & Spencer Community Energy Fund, which will also be open soon.
