What is Rural Community Ownership?

20.09.16

Put the morning of Saturday 12 November in your diary and come to Lainston House, Woodman Lane, Sparsholt to find out the answer!

We are delighted to invite parish councillors, community groups and individuals to this event hosted by Plunkett Foundation in partnership with Action Hampshire. During the morning of 12 November we will be showcasing some of the most inspiring examples of communities who have set up community co-operatives to tackle the challenges they have faced from, for example, declining services and facilities or the effects of social isolation or loneliness.

The event will also provide guidance from leading experts on setting up and running community co-operatives. All this before a buffet lunch at 1.30 pm.

The event is free of charge, thanks to support from English Rural Housing Association and Esmee Fairbairn Foundation.

For further details and to book your place visit Plunkett Foundation’s website If you have any questions please email Sarah Horth or call 01993 810730.
