Hampshire Safeguarding Adults Board: Networking event

The next Safeguarding Adults Lead (SAL) networking event will be on Thursday 12th April, and spaces are still available. This event is run by from Hampshire Safeguarding Adult Board. We’d recommend these events for anyone looking to keep up to date with safeguarding adults.

This conference will be exploring how research evidence and learning from safeguarding adults reviews can support positive outcomes when working with people who self-neglect.

The key speaker will be:

  • Suzy Braye, Emerita Professor of Social Work, University of Sussex, and independent consultant, researcher and reviewer in adult safeguarding. Suzy’s research into self-neglect (with David Orr and Michael Preston-Shoot) has been influential on the development of national policy on self-neglect and has been widely used by safeguarding adults boards to inform local procedures and workforce development.

Tickets for the event can be obtained through the HSAB Eventbrite page
