Get Into Customer Services - The Prince’s Trust apprenticeship scheme for NEET young people

Get Into Customer Services is for young people aged 16-25 who are currently NEET (not in employment, education or training), living in Portsmouth or the surrounding areas and interested in customer services.

The taster day for this year’s programme is on 19 October, with programme delivery from 14 November – 2 December. The first week will be customer service training in Whitley followed by a two week work placement at a HSBC branch in either Southampton, Eastleigh, Portsmouth, Fareham or Waterlooville. Travel costs will be reimbursed

Attendees will:

  • learn about customer service within the banking industry
  • receive five days customer service training
  • gain experience in customer service and a range of areas while on work experience in HSBC branches
  • improve interview skills and CV
  • receive support in applying for positions available at HSBC and six months’ support after the programme to help you find a job
