Be a champion networker

28.08.18

You have immediate access to around 65 people from community halls and associations across Hampshire, through our space on the Basecamp online networking system. Just send us a quick email and we’ll set you up with a free account. Then you can share your successes and struggles, ask people for their views, and share documents you’ve created.

We also have several face-to-face meetings coming up in September, giving you a great opportunity to meet people in the same role as you. These start in the north of Hampshire, at Hartley Wintney, on Thursday 6 September; a full list is here (under the heading ‘Networking meetings’). Each meeting is mainly aimed at organisations based in that district, but you’re welcome to come to another area meeting if the date for your local one doesn’t work for you.

Finally, do you know about the National Village and Community Halls Network? This is for you if you’d like to help shape and respond to national policy around rural community buildings. So if you’re interested in the big strategic picture around community development in England’s countryside, then get on board by signing up here.
